A wise person once told me that a good lie has an element of truth in it, in order for it to be believable. It’s a statement that has stayed with me through many decades, always reminding me to examine the things that come my way.

Laura prided herself on being organized and she spent enormous amounts of time planning and preparing for this season every year. But this year was different. Multiple health issues had kept her from the things that gave her so much joy and now with barely days to go, Laura started worrying whether she had enough time, or energy, to accomplish the task before her.

In one’s deepest moments of despair, to sob, is to pour out the sorrow that words cannot express.

My faith has stayed the course and though sometimes tempted to stray, I am still His. So why am I sharing this with you today? Well…I think there's maybe someone out there in my little circle that needs hope today.

…I have learnt to trust the process and trust the beauty that will come from my "clouds".

The stillness of the morning beckons me, “Come”.

The soft glow of the horizon quickening my soul to arise.

Is it You, Lord? Is today the day?

Will You storm the skies and fill my aching heart?

I just read somewhere that this date won’t come around for another 400 years. I read somewhere else today that we can wait for 11 more years and get together then… (3/3/33).

Softly my Saviour is calling my name

Gently He whispers and speaks to my pain

Nothing is wasted and nothing’s in vain

The promise I gave you will always remain

When confusion blinds and blocks my peace When I turn all my anguish over to You

A new ministry for our times.
